This collection brings to streaming platforms three previously unreleased songs alongside a tender ballad version of an earlier released favorite.<\/p>\n<p>The recordings capture a special musical moment between Mari Klingen&#8217;s expressive vocals in her native Tr\u00f8ndelag dialect and Gisle Haaland&#8217;s textured keyboard arrangements. Adding depth to the duo&#8217;s sound, guitarist Andreas Hofstad S\u00f8r\u00e5s joins on three tracks, contributing acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies that enhance the authentic, organic feel of these performances.<\/p>\n<p>This release on gi faen records presents songs like &#8220;Ord, berre ord,&#8221; &#8220;Uro,&#8221; &#8220;Noko,&#8221; and &#8220;Hav og fjell,&#8221; showcasing different facets of BLAA&#8217;s musical spectrum \u2013 from fragile introspection to more powerful, dramatic expressions. Originally filmed by video artist Andr\u00e9 L\u00f8yning, these sessions have existed only on YouTube until now, gaining a new life through careful remastering that preserves their raw emotion while enhancing sonic quality.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Noko live&#8221; demonstrates BLAA&#8217;s distinctive approach to fusing Norwegian folk traditions with contemporary elements. Through thoughtful arrangements and unadorned production, they capture the contemplative nature of their lyrics about everyday life, human relationships, and natural landscapes.
